World Bank’s SEA and/or SH Disqualification: At the time of Contract Award, not subject to disqualification by the World Bank for non-compliance with SEA/ SH obligations
Financial Capabilities: Submission of audited balance sheets or if not required by the law of the Bidder’s Country, other financial statements acceptable to the Employer, for the last three (3) years to demonstrate the current soundness of the Bidders financial position and its prospective long-term profitability.
• Current ratio ≥ 1.0
• Profitability with a minimum net profit margin of 10%
Average Annual Turnover: Minimum average annual turnover in works-installation of; Lots 1, 2 and 3: United States Dollars One million, (USD 1,000,000) or its equivalent in a convertible currency calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last three (3) years.
Financial Resources: The Bidder must demonstrate access to, or availability of, financial resources such as liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to meet:
(i) the following cash-flow requirement: Lots 1, 2 and 3: United States Dollars Five Hundred thousand (USD 500,000) or its equivalent in a convertible currency
And, (ii) the overall cash flow requirements for this contract and its current commitments.
Lots 1, 2 and 3: United States Dollars Four Hundred thousand (USD 400,000) or its equivalent in a convertible currency.
General Experience: Experience in Electrical and Energy contracts in the role of contractor, subcontractor, or management contractor for at least the last Seven (7) years starting 1st January 2017.
Specific Experience: Participation as contractor, joint venture member, management contractor, or subcontractor, in at least three (3) contracts within the last Seven (7) years, each with a value of at least US$ 500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand) for each of the three lots that have been successfully and substantially completed and that have included supply of solar systems and associated operation and maintenance across multiple systems.
Specific Experience : For the above or other contracts executed during the period stipulated in 4.2(a) above, a minimum experience in the following key activities:
i) Demonstrate cumulative experience under a single contract of installing systems totaling 50kWp solar PV array capacity, 40,000 Ah battery capacity, 50kVA inverter capacity, and O&M.
ii) Demonstrate experience under a single contract of installing at least two solar PV systems each of at least 5kWp solar PV array, 30kWh battery bank, 5Kw inverter capacity
iii) Proven experience installing and operating systems that use the same technologies (battery type, inverter type, etc.) that are included in the proposed designs.
Experience implementing a project with 10 or more solar systems concurrently.
