Health & Education Monitoring and Evaluation Capacity Building. The Center for Economic Researches , Узбекистан.
The project seeks to: (i) assist the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop and implement outcomes-oriented monitoring and evaluation approaches in the health and education sectors; and (ii) improve the access of user groups to primary data, ensuring a sufficient dissemination of the results. The project rests among others upon the following two components:
(a) Capacity Building in Designing and Implementing Survey Instruments for Assessing Outcomes in Health and Education: (i) provision of training workshops in results oriented monitoring and evaluation; (ii) provision of technical assistance in questionnaire development and sampling design; (iii) implementation of pilot surveys to test instruments developed and to provide data to feed the sectoral strategies and the Welfare Improvement strategy Paper (I-WISP).
(b) Strengthening Analytical Capacity and Links with Policy Making: (i) provision of training in data analyses; (ii) provision of workshops for integration of results in sectoral strategies.
